This team prepares and prints the Sunday bulletins and distributes the finished bulletins to the greeters for distribution to the church members. The team works with the Pastors and staff of New Hope Windward to create a bulletin that keeps the church family informed about upcoming events. The team selects the graphics and designs the inserts that are included in the bulletin.
Children are dear to the Lord and to us.
Our Goal: To provide a safe and healthy environment where the children and youth learn about God and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
We are looking for volunteers to be a part of shaping a child's heart for God. Volunteers help with Sign-in, serve as Greeters & Assistants or Small Group Leaders for children, ages 4-7 years old or 8-11 years old. We are also looking for volunteers to help with our Infants & Toddlers class.
Our mission is to redeem the arts for jesus, to show a picture of their lives through comedy, drama and multimedia and allow the word of God to come in and transform them. Writers, actors and behind the scenes people are desperately needed!! “Come and be a part of the lights, camera, action!!”

The Halau of New Hope Windward provides a visual interpretation of God's love, faithfulness, mercy, power and truth as they dance to songs sung by Christian artists.

The Hospitality Team provides a light lunch after each Sunday service. This team is also responsible for coordinating the food service at New Hope Windward's baptisms.
We believe that relationships and belonging to a church family is the key to a successful ministry and the essence of Christian life. This is why after each service we share a meal together as a church and build relationships with one another.

A place of belonging!!! Kids in Junior High are in a stage where they are drawing conclusions about God, life and themselves. Unfortunately many are drawing wrong conclusions because no one has ever taught them the truth. Our team motto is simple - love ‘um, lead ‘um, speak truth to them in love. We see Junior High Ministry as a place to shape the future of our church. We are always looking for volunteers who are good role models and love young people. We receive students grades 6-8.
The Ladies’ Ministry gatherings are a special and powerful time when women meet with other Christian women. Small group Bible studies for women are held throughout the year. This leads up to our very special annual Christmas Celebration. All women are welcome!
This is an awesome group of men is vital in preparing our place of Sunday service worship. The Levites provide support to the so many ministries here at New Hope Windward. They diligently setup before and break down after our services in a safe and tidy way. The also take part in other special activities such as water baptisms, community outreaches, and conferences.
The Multimedia / Video Team prepares the media for our Sunday Services. This team uses graphics, photographs, and videos to create the media for worship, the sermon notes and announcements. This includes informing parents if they are needed in Children's Church.
Their clear and meaningful presentations are done on the big screen for all to follow along. Their work clearly enhances our services and other activities.
The church office team is crucial to the operation of the church. This team takes care of the financial records, database, phone and reception. This team also coordinates our volunteers and the other activities in our office.
This team is vital to our success at New Hope Windward, as a picture does say a thousand words. Team members photograph church members, services and events. These pictures are used for the bulletin, multimedia presentations, our website, flyers and for ID tags.
"A prayerless Christian is a powerless one." We are thankful for our powerful prayer team who prays for individual and their needs, before, during and after services. The prayer team also receives prayer requests and prays for them throughout the week and beyond. We are thankful for this group of men and women whose simple faith moves mountains and for the chance to see the power of God change lives.

The programming team at New Hope Windward strives at executing and facilitating the flow of Sunday morning services. They plan out the service agenda and all the details that encompass it (the moving of microphones, music stands, plants, platforms, people, etc.). This group is vital to keeping our stage area safe and running smoothly.
Programming is responsible for technical support for what happens on stage. This includes the Lighting PowerPoint Presentations and Sound.
The word of God we hear on Sunday is so encouraging we often want to “listen to it” more throughout the week. Our Resources Ministry provides you with the same day CDs in a fast and efficient manner. Many buy multiple CDs to share with others. The Resources Ministry also provides tapes for the Children’s Ministry and other volunteers who are unable to join the regular services.
The Small Group Ministry promotes, assists and keeps track of all the small groups that in New Hope Windward. This ministry helps church members to get connected with the small group that is right for them. This ministry also provides support and resources for the small group facilitators. Volunteers are needed toss serve as small group hosts or facilitators.
This is a technical ministry with a lot of heart behind it. The sound ministry is responsible for setting up and running the sound system on Sunday morning. They provide support for our worship team and other groups needing sound assistance. From the moment you step in the theater and hear the lively house music, throughout worship and the message; the sound team is there.
This team provides planning and administration for seasonal church events like the Volunteer Appreciation Gather, the Spiritual Growth Campaign Kick-off and church wide retreat. This is a group of 8 or more members who meet seasonally on an as needed basis.
The Front Look team decorates the stage for our Sunday services to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The team designs floral arrangements, and uses banners and lights to transform the theaters into a place of worship.
Through praise and music the Worship Team leads us into the presence of the Lord. The ushers represent the church by enhancing the worship service by setting the tone as people pass through the doors of the sanctuary. They warmly greet members and visitors with a friendly smile and assist them in finding seats. They are aware of the needs in the service and they are ready to assist in anyway possible.
These faithful servants also provide direction to visitors, collection the offerings, coordinating events & activities, and meeting any special needs that may arise. The team serves on Sundays and at special church events.
Our Water Baptism Team has the privilege to share in this most special moment in a person's life - "baptism." The team provides setup and breakdown support, prepares leis, takes pictures, provides registration, and helps to create an ambience of celebration.
Currently, we have a water baptism planned every three to four months. Our baptisms take place at beautiful Kailua Beach, with a church potluck to follow.
The New Hope Windward Web Team creates, edits and updates this website. Team members write articles to help keep you informed about whats happening in our church and coordinate photographic images. Members also prepare the eNewsletter for distribution our our email list.
The Web Team is also responsible for providing technical support for our church website. Volunteers are gladly welcomed.
This team visits and ministers to female prisoners. They share the gospel with them, pray for them, do services and Bible studies with them, love and comfort them.
Through praise and music the Worship Team leads us into the presence of the Lord. The team serves on Sundays and at special church events.
They are a group of people who demonstrate their love for Jesus through their voices, musical instruments and hearts. They lock forward to welcoming and developing new singers and musicians.
