Studio Red Creative Media Group and New Hope Windward (NHW) have been honored with yet another Telly Award! The winning video, “Jeanna’s Testimony”, was first seen by the New Hope Windward congregation during the 2008 Christmas Service entitled “The Gift”. It is the second year in a row that collaboration between Studio Red and NHW has resulted in a coveted Telly award.
The Annual Telly Awards is an international competition that honors outstanding TV commercials and video productions. It receives more than 14,000 entries annually from all 50 states and 5 continents. Jeanna’s Testimony video won a Bronze 2009 Telly in the category of Religion/Spirituality.
Jeanna’s heart wrenching video testimony took us on her journey from utter despair to finding the peace of Jesus Christ. Her turning point came during a phone conversation with New Hope Windward Senior Pastor Dave Barr when Jeanna was assured that God had a different plan for her life. Pastor Dave gave her a list of churches to consider attending, with New Hope Windward listed last. Something about this humble gesture caused Jeanna to give New Hope Windward a chance…and the rest is history.
